Cargo Gear Certification

At the request of various clients, National Cargo Bureau, Inc. conducts inspections for various Lifting Gear Certifications. These Certifications may include:

• Annual and Quadrennial OSHA inspections of stevedore’s materials handling devices, including floating cranes and derricks used in the loading and discharging of cargo.
• Certification of the vessel’s lifting gear. This includes the observation of weight testing of shipboard cranes and miscellaneous lifting gear such as A-frames.
• Inventory of ships cargo gear such as lashing rods, twist locks, and lashing chains.
