HAZMAT / Dangerous Cargo Manifest Reviews

At the request of various clients, National Cargo Bureau, Inc. conducts reviews of vessels’ Dangerous Cargo Manifests to ensure compliance with National and International Regulations with respect to the hazardous cargo loaded.

Reviews include:

• Ensuring information from the Hazardous Shipping Paper has been properly transcribed to the Dangerous Cargo Manifest.
• Ensuring the Dangerous Cargo Manifest has been prepared in accordance with 49CFR Part 176 and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.
• Ensuring stowage locations have been properly entered.
• These reviews are usually conducted in conjunction with a review of Hazardous Materials Stowage and Segregation.

These reviews may be conducted prior to the arrival of the vessel at the load port or during the start of loading operations. National Cargo Bureau also conducts these reviews for vessels loading at remote locations via electronic media.
