Training offered in partnership with NSU’s SEAMIST program at no cost to the student

 

Overview

This course is based on the IMDG Code requirements, inclusive of the additional requirements under 49 CFR for international intermodal dangerous goods shipments. The course is comprised of training and testing in safety and security awareness alongside general awareness familiarization, giving participants working knowledge of the regulations governing dangerous goods movement across international and domestic modes. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an NCB course completion certificate.

 

This course is offered through NCB’s partnership with Nova Southeastern University’s SEAMIST (South East Area Maritime Industry Safety Training) program.

Format & Delivery

Instructor-led, delivered online.

 

Duration

8 hours of instruction, held over two consecutive days.
