NCB Announces the Election of Sean Dalton as Chairman of its Board of Directors

NCB announced the election of Mr. Sean Dalton as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective March 11, 2024.  Mr. Dalton will serve two, one-year terms as NCB’s Chairman replacing Capt. John Murray, whose current term as Chairman expired.

Sean Dalton is Executive Vice President and the Head of Marine Underwriting, North America, and the Head of Global Marine Facultative for Munich Re.

Based in New York, Sean serves the maritime industry through a variety of organizations. He is a Vice President and member of the Executive Committee for the International Union of Marine Insurers (IUMI) and the former member of the Policy Forum and Chair of the IUMI Cargo Committee. Sean serves as an Officer and Vice Chairman of the American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU) as well as on their Board of Directors.
