Product Overview

Designed to provide a working knowledge of the requirements for those responsible for packing containers, this course is based on the CTU Code, CSC Convention, IMDG Code and 49CFR requirements for international intermodal shipments moving by vessel. It includes training and testing in transit stresses, stowage & segregation, cargo securing, documentation and IMDG labels, marks and placards.

The course consists of a morning in the classroom followed by an afternoon of hands-on training, during which securing methods specific to containers and cargo on-site are demonstrated and critiqued.

How to buy

On-site only: USD 1,300 * plus USD 40 per person

*Additional charges may apply for travel to client’s locations outside local office areas and/or for training performed on weekends, nights (outside 0800-1700) or holidays.

NCB also offers general on going consultative support or specific guidance relating to the transport of dangerous goods.
