Position: Staff Surveyor

Location: Multiple Global Locations

As a Staff Surveyor at National Cargo Bureau, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of cargo and vessels. This position involves conducting marine surveys, inspections, and assessments, with a focus on cargo safety and ship stability. Ideal candidates will have a maritime background, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards at sea. Who We’re Looking For:

We welcome candidates with Master or Chief Mates Licenses and sailing experience, but we also encourage applicants with other grades of Unlimited sea-going licenses to apply. We prefer graduates from a recognised US Maritime Academy or an International equivalent.

Do you have bulk carrier/draft survey or container ship/hazmat cargo experience? That’s a plus, but not essential – we offer full training to ensure you’re equipped to excel in your role. We’re looking for team players with:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with ship stability.
