CINS

Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) was established in 2011 to share information on all cargo related incidents. The information is uploaded into the CINS online database which is accessible by CINS members. There are now 17 shipping line members. It was first introduced in 2011 by five of the world’s biggest container lines:

• CMA-CGM
• Evergreen
• Hapag Lloyd
• Maersk Line
• Mediterranean Shipping Company

National Cargo Bureau is an advisory member of CINS.

Software division Exis Technologies developed and maintains CINS, the global web facility supporting the CINS project, and is also an advisory member.
