Grain Certificate of Loading

National Cargo Bureau, Inc. issues a Certificate of Loading upon the successful completion of the loading of bulk grain.

In order to issue this certificate, National Cargo Bureau Surveyors:

• Provide oversight of stowage.
• Confirm proper loading procedures.
• Check compliance with the stability calculation.
• Review the vessel’s sailing condition prior to departure.

On completion of loading and after final inspection, the attending National Cargo Bureau Surveyor will issue a Certificate of Loading covering the Bulk Grain. In accordance with 46 CFR 172.040, this certificate is prima facie evidence of full compliance with the Grain Code.
